Close-up of a drop hanging on a Calla flower. Shot taken with my wife's 300D (good to have a DSLR in the family!), with both direct and indirect light. (You can see the direct light source sort of reflected in the drop...)

Thanks, guys. Steve, the background is actually another calla, which is why it works so well together. I was trying for some "yellow" shots for the December competition, but when they came out rather un-yellow, I wasnt too unhappy with it, since I quite liked the mood and colours I got.
Im shocked this got me my first HC. Ill recover, though!
And then - hopefully - on to higher spheres...

Love this shot!!..Just Great!
You asked me how I got the Pitcher image with out reflection. I used a white plastic board and placed one light behind the pitcher. Two light one on the left second on the right was pointed up to bounce of the walls. The light from behind did most of the lighting.
