Possibly the last of this series for now; the other shots that I currently have may or may not make it on here (depends on if I can get them looking how I want them to).

As for this shot, it's the same as the others: ND8 & ND4 used at the capture stage the get the necessary long exposure, and the toning was applied in PS.

Thanks for looking,
Michael. Smile

the bright patch at the top looks blown Michael and is a little distracting. Other than that it's a great minimal image and sits well within this excellent mini series.

I like this one, very minimal and original and fits the series well.

Comments appreciated, folks. Smile

I see what you mean, Mike, but I'm not too bothered about it. There was a pic I put up recently where I was saying in the description how I was battling not to blow the highlights, and it resulted in a nice conversation in the comments about the overemphasis that is placed on not blowing highlights in photos nowadays, when it's not always a bad thing.

I'm inclined to agree, so I let it be here.

its your own creative freedom to allow it to blow, there are no fixed rules...

This is really very good. I must go and have a look at the rest of your portfolio.

Indeed you are correct, Ian.

Thank all for the comments. Smile

Ah when to blow and when not to blow - that is the question Wink

In my mind that's one of the major drawbacks of digital photography. Over-exposed areas on film just work better I think.

another perfect addition to the series and a favourite too.

Now that's what I call a wall hanger. The pebbles grab your attention and you spend the next 5 minutes trying to see what else is in there. Smile
