Possibly the last of this series for now; the other shots that I currently have may or may not make it on here (depends on if I can get them looking how I want them to).
As for this shot, it's the same as the others: ND8 & ND4 used at the capture stage the get the necessary long exposure, and the toning was applied in PS.
Thanks for looking,
Michael. ![]()

the bright patch at the top looks blown Michael and is a little distracting. Other than that it's a great minimal image and sits well within this excellent mini series.

I like this one, very minimal and original and fits the series well.
Comments appreciated, folks. ![]()
I see what you mean, Mike, but I'm not too bothered about it. There was a pic I put up recently where I was saying in the description how I was battling not to blow the highlights, and it resulted in a nice conversation in the comments about the overemphasis that is placed on not blowing highlights in photos nowadays, when it's not always a bad thing.
I'm inclined to agree, so I let it be here.
Ah when to blow and when not to blow - that is the question ![]()
In my mind that's one of the major drawbacks of digital photography. Over-exposed areas on film just work better I think.
another perfect addition to the series and a favourite too.

Now that's what I call a wall hanger. The pebbles grab your attention and you spend the next 5 minutes trying to see what else is in there. ![]()
