Re. The McDonalds thing, this shot shows mum Roxanne telling little Myles that if he didn't behave, there would be no McDonalds later!

For anyone who's interested, it was originally shot on Reala - NOT Velvia as previously stated. The image was scanned, greyscaled and heavily cropped.

The soft skin effect is done by doing a duplicate layer, adding Gaussian blur, setting the blend mode to Multiply and reducing the opacity of the dupe layer. The dupe layer is erased using the eraser tool around the hair, eyes etc.

Frank - I really like the 180mm lens - its an excellent portrait lens.
