The funky lighting effect here is created using a 2000 joule Ringflash (approx 15" in diameter), which I recently bought on Ebay at a bargain price. Little or no retouching has been done on this shot.

Might be an optical illusion, but it seems the shadow's a touch wider on the left? 
I like the shadow/halo effect. Good pose. Gorgeous model, great look - a touch of Jessica Alba there. More! Clicked.
