A Window

Near us there is an 18th Century Inn and a Barn and surrounding outbuildings and farmlands. The property also has a rebuilt Log Cabin. After our friends died a few years ago, the place stood empty. It now has new tenants and a new owner. I am very excited as all parties have kindly given me permission to roam the property, camera in hand!!

Today, I took a walk around camera to "scope out" opportunities. Torrid heat and way too bright light sent me home early but i know where I am going when next I visit.

Mean time, here is a window in the big stone barn. More will follow, here and there.

Thank you all for looking at the grapevine and especially Thank you to NONUR for his User Award.

A window of opportunity and the mystery of what lies within.
The brick work looks pristine or well preserved but the window frames are old enough to tell a story.
Lovely start to a series?

A well detailed close up Jenn.
And what a lucky girl getting a ''free hand'' on the property.
We have a few old derelict buildings in Edinburgh,
but they are well sealed off for safety reasons and you can't get in !!

The subject here may be the window but I'm thinking "WHAT A GREAT WALL". That light really does it justice, Jennnn, as does your shot.
