here's one I took earlier again this down by the beck which goes through the local park , must be having it's early morning paddle , before anyone asks me what it is I got no idea , apart from it's an early bird
maybe it's an ostrich in disguise
Nice capture of what looks like a Wagtail but you need to get the bird sharper,
Two early birds Gwynn.
A bit more practise to get sharper images.
Not easy to do - look at the settings for some of the other bird lovers
until you feel confident about choosing your own.
The settings will change with the light and at 6.12am
it was probably a bit darker which doesn't help.
Nice capture of a Grey Wagtail. Focus seems slightly behind the bird. when close like this, I use a single focus point on the eye, lock the focus, then quickly recompose and take. Often not too easy though if they are moving around. If they are, you can try AF-C with as many focus points as your camera allows. Try getting down for a lower POV as well. Hope this helps.
