Tis was taken on the way down to Halifax from Queensbury , what a view as I approached it so I parked up at a convenient safe spot then walked down to take this shot , that pale blue sky and what appears to be dare I say it , SUN shining on those buildings , and for those interested it's worth taking note of the speed limit and not exceed it especially in bad weather , it may not look a sharp bend , though the road does get steeper around that corner , there's also quite a steep banking at the other side of them barriers ,think that's why there was a scrap merchants down at the bottom , not sure if it still there or not , but that's only place your car be fit for if it went over Smile

It looks dangerous. Especially because they are driving on the left. Wink

I like the composition and HDR style but there is some tell tail halos around the lamp posts on the right. Doesn't affect overall look but better gone. Some programs like Photomatix have micro adjust sliders that will generally get ride of or reduce this affect. Regards

Well composed and captured. I know a few similarly scary bends over major drops too - never to be forgotten in fact once you've driven around them!

We always drive on the left [even when we are abroad Sad] it's a quaintly British thing.............. If I was doing 50 mph on that bend I think I would be on two wheels, if I was lucky. Well spotted view and sunshine.
