Briefly Golden---a version

These trees were posted recently with the title "Briefly Golden." In this post I am showing a recovered B&W version. (Black & white with reduced opacity) V2 is the black and a white version.

Sending a Huge Thank You to EileenH and Alan_Baseley for their much appreciated User Awards for "Back in Time."

…John and I learned yesterday that it is time for his mom (96 years) to have hospice care--fortunately we had visited with her recently---

Hospice care is amazing - I'm glad you have recently seen John's Mum. The fading colours here seem most appropriate at this time SmileSmile

Difficult time but feel sure you and John will feel happier knowing that his Mother is being well cared for.
The image today is fine for me with all the branch shapes being visible and the light is perfect for the time of year.

Lovely bleached out version, very pretty. This image lends itself to a number of B&W treatments - I know, I came up with four in short order but you haven't enabled mods so I can't show you.

May I wish you well with dealing with the change in family circumstances.

Sorry to hear about your MIL so many road closures it's difficult to find the way forward! The lady will probably see 100 bless - I like the picture, good developing skills and composition and I do like bare trees it always makes one feel better when they start showing new growth (as in leaves)

96! Wow. May the transition go smoothly, Jennnn.

I love this recovered BW thing. So much more impact than straight BW!

The faded colours conveys the cold so well, I can almost feel the chill

V1 is my choice here - though i like both. The slight colour makes V1 a bit warmer.
