seems this guy wanted a close up of the steam train , this was at Ingrow West Station , I think at this point it was reversing back up the lineto a siding , so another train could get passed Smile

A great image, Gwynn - they keep those engines so clean!
I love the reflections in the tank and carriages!

Pity the engine was so close, the top of the chimney is missing. The smoke makes a great picture. Try again?

All this shot needed was "the fat controller" Blush. Just as well he was reversing, could have knocked you off your feet. Great shot.

Lovely sharp image, great reflections and colours . Only wish you had waited a bit longer as the train reversed so you could have taken in the train chimney and the smoke .? Takes some getting used to a new camera .

A wonderfully captured image from a great point of view. The colours and detail is second to none.

The reflections in this one make it most interesting Gwynn.
It's hard to get exactly what you want with trains, I think - always somebody in the way!

Great clarity, I love the reflections on the paintwork. Brilliant, shame for the clipping of the funnel though.

You clipped the funnel, shame really but perhaps you were too close to get it all inWink

A lovely image Gwynn. I have to agree with the others re the chimney. It can be difficult grabbing these type of shots at times

I find the reflections very interesting, Gwynn, and the color and composition are wonderful. So thought also the other photographer in the right foreground.
