great tones, there has been a lot of rain up there judging by how full the hollow is, like the ripples on the waters surface which convey just how breezy it was

Some lovely tonal contrasts here Martin. Works well although I think the colour version would be my preference if choosing between them.

Deep and detailed, Martin, with the B&W treatment helping to emphasise the contours of the landscape. The ripples in the water suggest a wind which I bet was more than just a little chilly.
