This shot was taken from platform 3 at the Keighley station , taken during the recent steam gala they had at the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway , thought about cropping it , but then I thought no show that I stood safely on the platform and that yep blue sky and the sun was out too , which made a change for me recently ,and yes it was 9am not pm like my recent series , and I do know theres 2 9 o clocks in a day Smile

I'd just like to say thank you to all who have voted and commented on this upload , and a big thank you to **** for the user award even though I not think it deserves it Smile

Thomas the Tank Grin Love steam engines, just the smell of them evokes memories of being a very small child [as apposed to be ing a very large child] GrinGrin. I think you were right not to crop it; it shows depth and tells the story....................... Pictuer postcard.

This is very good again Gwynn, your photography has improved so much, the exposure and composition is excellent, my friend who is from Wales lives near there in a small village called Crossroads.

Keighley is supposed to be a lovely place - on my list of places to visit.
Would love a long ride on that steam train.
