Thanks for the comments and votes on my female blackbird.
This one's for Jukka as he doesn't mind the snow Smile. It was taken last January in south Staffordshire.
Now I'll shatter the illusion and point out that there's a footbal field to the left and a sewage farm behind the trees on the right Grin

like the shot. Where about was it taken? I spent many years living in Wombourne and have photographed many of the areas around there.

What a beautiful snowscape...then "pop" you burst the bubble and told us about the sewerage plant...never mind, it's still a wonderful capture.

Beautiful. I just love the snow but then I can get where I need to on foot so doesn't affect me and I just love a gorgeous snowy scene. Love it GrinGrin

I like this one, Keith - and don't mind snow.
The air nice and crisp etc; It's just that it doesn't last...
...and along comes the damp, with a cold wind.
The trees in your image look good, with 'white' branches.
The footpath gives a great leading line, too.

Thanks Simon. The footpath is a regular trail used by the local dogwalkers.
Babajoshua, this was taken near Codsall.
Good to know Kathryn. In fact, this was a short walking distance for me.

Fresh crisp snow can enhance any area especially when there is a clear blue sky and the light is good. A number of the shots I've taken over the years have been in areas where I would not normally contemplate taking a landscape shot of any description
