Tussock Moth Caterpillar

Thank you to Nezih (nonur) for his wonderful User Award for ELEPHANT!
Also, thank you to SammyRatFan for his User award for the FEMALE TIGER SWALLOWTAIL.

I had allowed some Milkweed plants to grow in my garden especially for the Monarch butterfly caterpillars and was furious to find about 50 of these Tussock Moth caterpillars chomping away! They totally devoured the milkweed plants and moved on---not to worry there seem to many other plants available for the Monarchs---

I allowed my self 4 images of these rascals!

NOTE: I mentioned that we would be traveling ---have delayed our trip due to John's Mom's lawyer's schedule--- Duh!

Hopefully the Monarchs will find other plants to devour, but meantime you have captured this hairy specimen so well, Carol.
