love the treatment you use... beautiful work
Nicola !
I don't know why so many people get excited by these photos as they are contrived in some photoshop media. Although they are attractive, I feel they are overated and have no place on EPZ.
The art in photograpics are in the camera only. If you cannot take good photos and upload these. Then don't bother.
Seems Peterthowe is a purest!
I see where he is coming from but i have to disagree, i love this kind of processing and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Great image Cor.
Ricky.
An excellent composition, that you have moved I think into the past of your memories. You've created your own private place in Bruges, it's a place of the mind. There has to be room on the site for individual vision and creativity.

It is lovely Cor - photographic art at its best - and without a very decent photograph or 3, you could not produce such wonderful art.
I love your work, app reciate the skill that it takes and consider it something to aspire to. Keep them coming!

Great capture, you only have to look at the comments from people to see that they enjoy your work, you can also look at other peoples work to see why the are so jealous of yours, this gets a vote from me and remember before digital cameras! Photographers retouched Negs and altered the photographs in the dark room Eg: dodge and burn and loads more, I spent hours doing just that, keep doing what you are good at. And by the way people do upload terrible photos out of their cameras that are not exposed correct with burnt out areas!
Regards
Trev.
Lovely image and although manipulated, retains its origins as a well composed thought out photograph. Its great to see all ranges of expression from the ordinary everyday to the fantastical on EPZ and its all the better for this. Also I think you need to look past the manipulation (which is superb) and appriciate that it is composed really well aslo.
Great job - Steve
Perhaps peterthowe doesn't realize that the staff of EPZ told me it was fine to upload Terragen pictures, which have no photography involved at all, so there is more leeway than he thinks. Cor's work is a joy and EPZ would be diminshed without it.

Super image, Cor. Love this. I'd completely disagree with 'peterthowe's' comment that "The art in photographics are (is?)in the camera only." Apart from the camera needing someone to operate it, which is considerably more important, this site thrives on wonderful end-products of subtle image manimulation which can (not always, but very often does) result in a wonderful piece of artwork. These images I and many others find a joy to look at, just like the TG images of CCB above, and several other very professional picture-creaters. EPZ would be less rich without these pictures. Just look at most of the comments below them.
'Keep on rockin' Cor, your style and work is a pleasure to behold.
Dave.
A really lovely image, and i'd love to visit Bruges again sometime.

You've really caught the feeling of autumn in this one Cor, quite delightful... Dave
Who is this Peterthowe? It's one thing to offer constructive criticism, but comments like this are uncalled for. He obviously doesn't have the skill or the artistic ability to produce something different to a straight shot.
Anyway, I think this rates amongst your very best, Cor, and is an excellent bit of processing...I love it!

Quote: If EPZ had more Cors and less peterthowes it would be a brighter, livelier and far more interesting place.
Keep up the splendid work.
Eric
!00% agree with the above - there is a place for photographic work in all it's manifestations here and everywhere - you have a vision, you photograph it, you enhance it to develop that vision.....perfection.
There is a place for straight out of the camera, and there is a place for photographic Art...your work is a joy and a very great pleasure to look at...
Hugs,
Pauline
Quote: Thank You all for the positive comments.
The problem is that my english is not so good and it is difficult for me to answer on a comment from a person from who the critique is based on ignorence and narrow mindedness.
With kind regards,
cor
The best answer to the comment from this very blinkered and small minded individual is with your imagery - so just keep up the good work Cor.

A comment that is best ignored, Cor. Your work is wonderful, appreciated by so many members on ePZ (the votes speak for themselves), the same cannot be said for peterhowe. Let him follow his own words and 'don't bother to upload'. Carol
Your work has always inspired me to give you a vote. I love it.
