Wow! What fantastic work, Cor, you have created a masterpiece. Carol
Well manipulated. Excellent concept and the result.
hi Gilbert, hope all is fine there....
Cor ..is this from a book you are going to do??? It looks as though it could be - spooky, scary...but will have a happy ending I hope!
I love this so much!
It is only a bad dream........ I hope! . A fine sunday everyone.
love the way youve constructed this, has a dark and creepy feel.lesley
another master piece Cor,
have a great weekend
Another excellent creation Gilbert,
Amazing work, so VERY well done. I like the title too.
stunning work cor love the man with rucksack nice one
Magnificently worked image. The light is so good on the child,Awards aplenty with this one I imagine.
Wow, this is so impressive Cor! The man looks like a smuggler by night, great work!
A fabulous creation and beautiful image, Cor. I shall have to keep coming back to view it again and again. Truly lovely work.
every childs nightmare "being chased by the bad man" brilliantly portrayed in this image ,very well done. Neil
Fabulous image/work Cor - Love it !
Brilliantly constructed image. Love it.
I want to read the book to this image. Brilliant......
Stunning; mysterious, sinister. Wonderful lighting and conception.
This certainly tells a very grim story. So well put together.
Atmospheric and well assembled, but maybe there's too much going on in the image. Personally I'd simplify it by taking away the colourful sky in the top left quarter. Have it dark and moody and let the eye concentrate on the buildings and figures below.
Great image Cor, very atmospheric
Very unnerving and beautifully done.
Many thanks for loading V2 Mr Cor
It's funny because I often have these ideas for "improvements" which I see in my head, but it's great here to be able to flick between the two. And here I shall eat humble pie as I think I prefer V1
In hindsight I think that what v1 does quite cleverly is provide a third point of interest up in the sky ... so you have the man, the girl at the door and the colourful cloud. A triangle of interest.
V2 loses that third point of interest and I think is diminished as a result. I guess that another option would be to add a subtle full moon to V2? But where does it end?
Thankyou for indulging me
Another brilliant piece of work, Cor. Like both versions, but think V1's my favourite.
No 2 has a more sinister feeling to it I think, but I like both
Superb manipulation Cor - so atmospheric!
works so well
Like your manipulation in this Cor, the tones give it real atmosphere.
V1 is cleverly processed as is V2 which lacks that beautiful sky, both show great talent and quality work I have NO complaints
Excellent work and result Gilbert.
V1 for me please
Superbly striking. Wonderful atmosphere in both
Fantastic image, lots of power and darkness in this a great work of art.
wonderful, congrats on the EC
No more I can add, congratulations on a wonderful image and the EC.
Fabulous piece of storytelling.
The reds are so well balanced Cor.
Congrats on your EC Gilbert
Fantastic. A wonderful setting so cleverly turned into a worrying story. I'm so pleased to see this with an EC, the worlds you create are so very much your own.
love both of them
an amazing set of images
congratulations on your
E C and R C
Re: Guest Editor Award
Well Pete has beaten me to this one in the Award stakes, so I will only say "Bags eye Pete .... I saw it first"
It's a beautifully crafted image, and please excuse my ramblings about the sky from earlier today. V1 is definitely my favourite and just flicking between the two versions here in the dark then I must say that the drama in the sky really does add to the strength of the image.
The light is beautiful, the detail is intricate.
Excellent image. Congratulations on your awards, they are all richly deserved.
Such excellent work Cor - imaginative and wonderfully executed.
Congratulations on the awards - so well deserved.
