Amazing work, so VERY well done. I like the title too.

What an imagination you have to put this together.
Sheer genius!
Shame I can only give it one vote!
Wow, this is so impressive Cor! The man looks like a smuggler by night, great work!

Atmospheric and well assembled, but maybe there's too much going on in the image. Personally I'd simplify it by taking away the colourful sky in the top left quarter. Have it dark and moody and let the eye concentrate on the buildings and figures below.

Many thanks for loading V2 Mr Cor ![]()
It's funny because I often have these ideas for "improvements" which I see in my head, but it's great here to be able to flick between the two. And here I shall eat humble pie as I think I prefer V1 ![]()
In hindsight I think that what v1 does quite cleverly is provide a third point of interest up in the sky ... so you have the man, the girl at the door and the colourful cloud. A triangle of interest.
V2 loses that third point of interest and I think is diminished as a result. I guess that another option would be to add a subtle full moon to V2? But where does it end?
Thankyou for indulging me ![]()

Another brilliant piece of work, Cor. Like both versions, but think V1's my favourite.

V1 is cleverly processed as is V2 which lacks that beautiful sky, both show great talent and quality work I have NO complaints
Superbly striking. Wonderful atmosphere in both

No more I can add, congratulations on a wonderful image and the EC.

Re: Guest Editor Award
Well Pete has beaten me to this one in the Award stakes, so I will only say "Bags eye Pete .... I saw it first"
It's a beautifully crafted image, and please excuse my ramblings about the sky from earlier today. V1 is definitely my favourite and just flicking between the two versions here in the dark then I must say that the drama in the sky really does add to the strength of the image.
The light is beautiful, the detail is intricate.
Excellent image. Congratulations on your awards, they are all richly deserved.

Many congratulations on the awards Cor, version 2 is my favourite... Dave
superb, this is the kind of picture that make me wipe the dust from my camera and try again.
thank you
