This has the potential to be a beautiful shot, with the great scenery, nice composition, gorgeous light and the effect of the mist but I am assuming you took this handheld? You are never going to be able to hold a camera steady enough at the slow shutter speed needed in these low light conditions to avoid the blur caused by camera shake. Get a tripod or try to find a solid surface to rest your camera on and with your interest in photography and access to scenery like this, you'll be taking some amazing shots. Caroline

I agree with the above. I love strong, slightly abstract architectural photos like this but definitely more contrast needed, especially between the tone of the building and the sky. I love the fact that there is so little of the building in the shot but I immediately get a strong sense of what I am sure is a beautiful imposing art deco structure, just needs a little more ooomph (technical term)
