Terrific colours. A little off the bottom perhaps? Well done.

Stunning Steve, maybe a little too much dark at the bottom, but nontheless a fantastic capture.

I'm with the others who've said that this could do with a bit of cropping at the bottom, but it's anotherwise excellent picture.

Lovely colours, Steve. I've got my slides back too but haven't had a chance to scan any yet.....think I have the same problem with too much dark at the bottom. Did you go back the next day? And how was the rest of your trip - good I hope.

Steve, I would like to have such "bad" photo in my portfolio. The colors are stunning going the whole range of the spectrum (On-Spot exposure). About the croping, I like it that way 'cause it leads the eye thru the photo - from total black to red-orange purple and blue. Keep it that way, IMHO.
BIG CLICK.

Steve,

You must have been there on the same evening as me!!! I have a sunset that looks exactly like this one. Was it a few Saturdays back?

Adam

Thanks for the comments and agree maybe cropping would improve the shot. Yes Adam, 2 weeks ago, looked around to see who was about and saw Sandra(SAW3), was a disappointing trip on the whole to Dorset/Devon, knowing your subject, where to go etc and when finding them making a hash of the photos but i live and learn. Yes was there briefly on sunday too Sandra. Steve.

I got there about 7ish and saw a lady with a tripod, but nobody else. I was on the same side as you, but much further around the coast. And I didnt come back until way after sunset.

I would have recognised that sunset anywhere! Next time I will look out for you!

Adam.

Oh right in a secret location were you! Smile Sunday wasn't so good, lot of haze about and when the sun went down the colour seemed to ebb from the sky but no doubt you would have taken some great shots as usual Adam. Steve.

Great shot whatever.

Great shot, Steve. It would be a pity to take a bit off the bottom as this portrait format suits these seascape shots so well.
