Morning folks. This is Glencoe Lochan, a beautiful lochan which lies behind Glencoe Village. Only about a mile to walk around but with the right light, the reflections are beautiful. This was an evening walk round the lochan. This is manmade. The trees were transplanted from the Pacific Northwest Canada. Donald Alexander Smith acquired Glencoe estate in 1895, and had this created for his Canadian wife who was homesick for her ow land. It is now cared for by the forestry commision. Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.

An interesting narrative about the scene and a beautiful shot it is too: imagine camping there and having this view in the morning (weather permitting, of course).
Ronnie.

Lovely landscape, and I like the way the symmetry is nearly perfect, but not quite. Of course, my weakness for landscapes with water is a factor as wellSmile

An image which one would not only love to capture, but one which one love to walk straight into. You have captured not only the beauty and charm of this idyllic location but also the calm and serenity. "Simply breathtaking photography Moira"
