Morning all. Today's Portmeirion shot encompasses the Round house on the right leading past Lady's Lodge to the Pantheon. The Round house was no Six's house in the Prisoner, although all interior filming was done in Borehamwood. It is now the Prisoner shop.
Lady's Lodge was originally built as a lock up garage, and is now a shop.
The Pantheon or Dome was built because the village founder - Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis felt the village lacked 'domedom'. It is now a gallery for paintings.
Below the Pantheon is the pantiled loggia which houses the gilt Buddha.
Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.
I have noticed some haloing round the buildings on these shots - seems to happen because they are reduced in size for upload. Can see no other reason for this. The normal size does not have this.
