Afternoon all. On the way to Arisaig, we came around a big corner to this stunning view. If I remember rightly this is at Loch Ailort looking out to the Sound of Arisaig. One of those views that actually make you catch your breath. Thanks for C&Cs on previous upload, and a big thanks to Scottishlandscapes (Dougie), Niknut (Keith) and TrevBatWCC (Trev) for their UAs. A lovely surprise as that was my favourite shot of my whole holiday.

They shot some of the scenes close tohere for, "From Russia with Love". The boat chases with the Russians.

The road up to Arisaig is like a motorway now in comparison with the old dilapidated single track.
It used to be great fun when you met a fish lorry or construction truck at one of the skinny bits.

Well done on yesterdays posting a super image Moira.

Dougie

The gloss and textures on the water are magical.

Lovely to see. Did a lot round here. Rode very early one morning just as the mist was rising from the Loch . So beautiful.
Also did a sheep round up and climbed up Roshven . The views were amazing. Its been a trip down memory lane seeing all your images !I worked there for 2 summers when I was a student.
