Kim,

This is an awesome shot, her eyes pop off the image...and they are inviting and yet slightly coy. The blurred part of the image kinda lets it down just a tiny bit but when i look at her face, the shape of her jaw, the look in her eyes, and its in B&W the more I like this image. It speaks to me.

yeah that sounds like a brilliant idea, its so hard to say with some images if they will be improved or ruined by croping, I think you have to decide what you are after from the image really eh.

I have a think about the power of the eyes, I have yet to get a decent shot of one of a human eye that I really like but I shall keep trying. The fun is in the trying isn't it.

I love this image because it speaks to me. I like an image that tells a story. You have a gift. Well done.
