Details in a Masonic Hall. A weird place – gloomy, sterile, depressing, disturbing.
Which reminds me, I must start uploading my Great Yarmouth pictures soon.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

"gloomy, sterile, depressing, disturbing" - they are all conveyed in this well composed shot Moira - I'm unsure about the border, though white seems the right colour.

Can't keep anything secret from a Frenchman... Spot on Pascal, but I considerably reduce the white strip. (I also add canvas space first, because otherwise the border eats into the composition).
Thanks early birds,
Moira
Very good arrangement of the strong shapes, the content is less important to me here. Sombre low key image and well presented, and excellent description ![]()

I just had to laugh at this ......Moira you are priceless....
I hope you don't get a black ball,
John
Marvellous atmospheric image and it tells the story so well. The allusion to Gt Yarmouth is special indeed Moira.
Now they'll never see your knee.

Quote: The tones are superb, excellent composition and if you are handheld with 1/25 sec......well what can i say !!
Hand-held, Costas - I have a steady hand! (I've managed 1/5 second on occasions.) Thanks so much for your UA, and thanks to everyone else who's visited here.

Quote: Why is your hand not so steady when you spill my coffee?
That's just the effect that you have on women Danny...

Another beautifully processed mono, Moira, and like the border ![]()

Atmosphere is the key word here Moira, a place with a dark past.

Love that Efex Pro border
- I also really appreciate the software from NIK, there's power in those sliders.
A very moody and dark image - wonderful rich blacks. Superb detail, and just enough dof to let us read "Brotherly Love" in the background.

Been to both, have to agree
Although the the weirdness and gloominess of Yarmouth can be surpressed by Alcohol, i speak from experience![]()

I have to ask what you were doing ina Masonic hall, Moira...bbut then again, perhaps not. Not visitiong the gents facilities, camera in hand?
Recognised the efex border as Pascal did. My favourite piece of photographic software...efex 2, that is, not Pascal![]()
Marvellously moody and mysterious, MOira.

I apologise to you and Bill for V2 on my latest upload
excellent. To late for my award but it would deserve it. Brotherly love is as cynic ans the liberté egalité fraternité. In both cases women don't comer into it but that isn't ll of it. It is cliques secretive goings on etc.
