I think this is your best manipulation, unerringly single-subject-oriented while technically perfect. And I understand it!

This is really good - like looking up at a series of stained-glass windows (I know some of the details are stained-glass windows, but not all...), these features are all quite high up in the Minster so somehow the effect is appropriate. Plus - that's a damn good picture in the BG!

In his eloquence, Bill said it for me. I feel that I am more in tune with this one than some of your others. It is beautifully put together, and the expression Escheresque seems appropriate, because the eye thinks it knows where it's going, then gets confused and goes back again. You've also reflected the shape in the background, curved like the arches of the Minster. Each image is interesting, understandable and some even abstract. I think this is one of your best.
