Super image, David.
IMO the background is very unnatural looking.
Single colour BG's don't happen that often in nature.

I agree I put the grey background there just to see what it would look like.. I am still undecided myself due to it not being a natural background....

Lovely image.
The bg colour is OK. It's the uniformity that detracts. Introducing a gradation, maybe, might help (?). Smile

I would also crop some of the image from the top, to put the eye on the top third.
Good detail and pose though.
