Can't be too proud if he let you get this close to him. 
Great image IMO. Maybe because I don't see ione like it often regardless of that technicals handled well. Really is a great image.
unbelievable ...we're are surrounded by stags and even if you pull over in the car and switch engine off they bolt..this is a cracker

I Love The Way The Stag Seems To Come Out Of The Screen.
