Hi, this is quite a moody scene and the potential is definatly there to get an unusual shot.
Where this fail is in its sharpness. The image just isnt critically sharp and that heavily lets it down.
In addition i feel the flame is slightly too central in the composition. It would work better moved to the left slightly.
The photo looks well exposed and has been taken at that time of night where the sky turns blue. The steam/smoke/cloud running underneat adds a nice framing touch to the image.

About the sharpness, yes you are right. This was one of four and the best. It is made with 4 times zoom ( 140mm ?)and a low shuttertime. So I am afraid I just moved a bit.
