Under The Thumb Me!

This is one option of mine for the mono camera club compy

This is a self portrait taken by me. I know the focus is a bit off, but bear in mind that I was in a dark room and the only source of light was the onboard flash backfiring off my thumb. It took a bit of effort making sure the flash was fully masked by my thumb so as not to be reflected in the mirror!

I did think of flipping the image horizontally to try to lose the mirror effect, but think this version works better
