Just got back from the best holiday EVER! A beautiful house with a pool in the south of France, Provence, Chateauneuf Du Pape region (much degustation), baking hot, lovely food, culture, history.......(sobs pathetically).
Anyway, was having a swim one gloriously hot and beautiful day....(sob).....when, I was alerted to the plight of this handsome fella by one of the five children with us. Seems he had decided to join us for a swim, only he couldn't very well, so Crazylegs sprang to the rescue. After initially making matters worse by practically drowning the poor chap, I mananged to scoop him up and place him on the pebbles around the side of the pool. We all watched, intrigued as he stood motionless, but alive. Shock, I thought. Until I realized he was merely...drying out. Not bothered by our presence, he stood performing all manner of movements, some quite bizarre, to dry out his body, inside and out.
