Great thanks i actually never thought about that but you are right!
Dan my newborn shoots take 4 hours and it depends on baby to how long it takes to get something like this! This one was quick baby slept like a log but i did one today baby hardly slept and would cry as soon as i tried to pose her!
I also agree about cropping the wood and removing the patch as it slightly distracts from that adorable baby. Fantastic image though. I'd also love to know how long it took to set up please. :0) Well done.
Thanks so much its just a balancing act once baby is deep asleep not sure exactly how long it took maybe about 15 mins once i place sleeping baby in the bowl
Some people will do a composite and have mum place a finger against babies head to balance it then clone finger out i try to get the shot without that if not i will do a composite also
Nice shot - Reminds me of Maria Murray's and Carrie Sandoval's work.
All been said regarding crit and how good this is....I can only back all that up. Just lovely....
Super portrait with a fantastic pose - made me smile.
Only comment I would make is on composition and as already suggested would crop the wood at the bottom. I would also balance the image a little more by cropping the top space which will also concentrate our eyes on the cutest subject Ive seen for awhile.
Excellent
Ian
Absolutely superb shot, nice work indeed - bet you are proud of it.
