Cute as ever Smile My only thoughts might be to crop the wood from the bottom off and remove the patch on the right too? Then the whole pic would be pink and white and cute and fluffy Smile

Always wanted to create this type of image! Love them. How long did it take to set up? The baby looks so relaxed....and cute - Dan

I agree about cropping the wood and removing the patch on the right.

A really lovely image though!

Ken

Great thanks i actually never thought about that but you are right!

Dan my newborn shoots take 4 hours and it depends on baby to how long it takes to get something like this! This one was quick baby slept like a log but i did one today baby hardly slept and would cry as soon as i tried to pose her!

I also agree about cropping the wood and removing the patch as it slightly distracts from that adorable baby. Fantastic image though. I'd also love to know how long it took to set up please. :0) Well done.

aaawwww bless, head in hands is just like an older child... I am surprised the newborn could hold his head like that.

Just adorable, can only imagine how pleased the parents were with this. .........Sandy

Thanks so much its just a balancing act once baby is deep asleep not sure exactly how long it took maybe about 15 mins once i place sleeping baby in the bowl
Some people will do a composite and have mum place a finger against babies head to balance it then clone finger out i try to get the shot without that if not i will do a composite also

Super portrait with a fantastic pose - made me smile.

Only comment I would make is on composition and as already suggested would crop the wood at the bottom. I would also balance the image a little more by cropping the top space which will also concentrate our eyes on the cutest subject Ive seen for awhile.

Excellent

Oh, this is just superb! Once in a lifetime shot, one to be proud of and one that would be centre stage in the family album.
