Harcourt Arboretum

We visited Harcourt Arboretum on Sunday but were a little disappointed to find we were probably a week or so too early for the full autumn colour. The acers were spectacular but that was about it. Going to Westonbirt next Saturday and hoping that will be better timing.

Martin and I are doing a photography course, mainly on the subject of composition, this month's homework is paths and trails so this is one I have taken for that.

Have had two lovely surprises in the last few days, Martin and I have free places on a travel photography masterclass on Sunday and I have been invited by Amateur Photographer to a landscape masterclass in Keswick with Tom Mackie in November to photograph waterfalls, lakes and caves.

Many thanks for all the great feedback and encouragement, enormously helpful in guiding me as to what works and what doesn't.
