Another one from later in Sunday's session
beautiful (yesterdays was a bit garish for my taste)
It is just beautiful! The clarity is stunning!
one after another, beautiful...
patience is a virtue and you have it
One of the items to make the next step should arrive tomorrow, but won't be able to test the theory until the weekend probably.
Have decided to work from home for the week having seen the weather and traffic news, so I could have done the GE role after all, but it will have to wait now. Doesn't seem sensible to travel 120 miles to work when I can access everything from home. Also saves on hotel bills.
Do have a few more ideas, based on others work that would be good to try, but need to visit a toy shop for one item and we don't have one locally.
Very good, love the colours!!
Apart from the skill you show in capturing these shots, I am interested (for want of a better way to describe it) in the slight wobble on the wave. Good luck with the new part.
The slight wobble on the wave, I presume you mean the bit just above the main reflection. It is where part of the reflection is in the outer ripples. Sometimes the colour shows quite clearly and if the coliision is lower I find it quite distracting. This is why I worked so hard to get the main collision clear of the ripples. This one has a little colour there, but Sunday's was pretty free of any which is why it looked cleaner.
Cheryl, the main ripple appears to be slightly lower at 9 and 3 o'clock, and there appears to be a kink around 8 o'clock. Just to be clear, both arecomments are intended as interest/observation, and not any form of criticism.
Yep the kinks happens sometimes if the surface is not flat when the first drop hits. You can get quite strange effects (which normally get binned) if there is a bubble on the water surface.
I think the other thing you may be seeing is an attempt by me to remove what looks like noise, it isn't noise, the tin I was using did not have a uniform surface and some of the variations were reflected in to the picture, mainly at the edges.
Not taken as criticism Nigel, just as questions. I have a new tin now which should get rid of the problem I hope.
Thanks for the feedback Cheryl.
