That it rained a little whilst I was in Finland?

Here is an example shot taken on the second evening. Not even sure that this does justice to the downpour. Also not easy to focus through 50m of torrential rain!

You could look on it as artistic 'noise' Cheryl Wink

Well worth taking - as if a little rain would stop you!!!

That is beautiful, the rain gives it an effect that takes it a cut above the average. I think I'd have been more worried about the bear than the rain. Looks like she means business!

Fine capture despite the rain, like the tones and comp in this one.

I would think being that close to one of those beasts Cheryl, a drop of rain would be the least of your worries! Hope you had your bike handy. Smile
Superb shot.

Thanks all.

I'll post a close up shot some time Rog, and then you'll wonder how I managed with the minimum focussing distance. I don't think you can have a real appreciation of how large these bears are until you have seen them in the flesh, I certainly did not!

The directness of the bear, combined with that pastel landscape and the fine processing makes this one I would be proud to hang on my wall. This is a truly beautiful photo.

Thanks Joline for the UA, most appreciated. Quite a surprise to get an update on this shot Grin

Have plenty more in the rain for a later date. Two whole nights worth of shooting!

Credit where credit's due. That's a damn fine shot! Just don't go and spoil it by putting up a picture of a robin....
