Just loved the colours, so wanted to concentrate attention on that rather than the flower itself.

Very nice Cheryl. I have a similar one in my portfolio from a while back but mine is mainly orbage and yellow.

I really like the contrast of colours in your shot. It's inspired me to go and try it again.. Nicely done

P.S.

Really like this. It's a great abstract and although you can't tell it's an Iris from the shape the colours do.

Well done,

Edward

I like this a lot. Lovely colours helped by the softness of the shot.

Excellent choic of DOF! It can sometimes be too tempting to stop down your lens just a little more, I'm glad you resisted!

Thanks everyone, to Fred, you can buy this via my website (just kidding, I mean you can but I know what you were saying)

There really isn't any DOF as such in a shot like this. No one piece is truly sharp and yet no one piece is truly unsharp, if you know what I mean.

As I said I just wanted to concentrate on the colours. I think everyone would have guessed it was an Iris.

Thanks again
Cheryl
