I have dreams about Kingfishers lately as I cant find any. Oops found one today but nowhere like this to photograph on a great perch and in ideal light.
Superb image Cheryl. Did you think about removing the slight green on the right so as not to draw the eye.

Thanks all.

Funny thing Richard, I actually moved position to get the variation in the background, but mainly in horizontal format. On this shot it did not bother me that it was only a small bit left in frame as it was where the bird was looking. But I can see it from both angles. There is another fainter patch of green to the left of the dominant one, but probably not strong enough to even out the tones.
