or shouldn't I upload this. Well I feel a bit guilty as I met Steve Shurey (Wilmot) and his dad with the intention of photographing the kingfisher at Brandon if it showed. Unfortunately Steve was not feeling too well, so missed quite a good show by the KF around 4:30.

In the second is a fun moment.

v2 is different as in pose and very lovely - two good shots but I am sticking with V2 - hope Steve is feeling better by the time he sees this upload - your 500 is it a nikon prime ?

Karen, I had to wait a couple of hours and initially he did show on the far perch. At one time there were two chasing each other.

The problem is that at the time he is arriving the light is starting to fade off due to the positioning of the perch in the darkest corner.
