Two years ago a family of swallows arrived on our fence to feed the fledglings. The parents or the fledglings now grown up came back!
Still the same constraints: only one place to shoot; and that awful brick background. To get all the picture in focus revealed the brick and to reduce the brick effect, made the depth of field very shallow. As we don't often see 4 fledglings, for this shot I made them the subject. It would have been better if the parent and food were in focus but another instant to gain focus would see the left wing hide the youngsters.
Anyway, it is always a pleasure to take these pictures and I hope they come again.

A delightful image, i like the way they are lined up in a row ready to receive their meal
As always, a big thank you to all who commented and voted. I have to say though, that I almost missed seeing the User Award from 'Lovely'! I must admit that I always wonder if I will get one vote, 5 is about average and if I break double figures it is a near triumph (or perhaps a Yamaha). My first User Award which is gratefully received. Chris
