I took this bird on holiday in Egypt in the hotel grounds. I'm not sure if it is a willow warbler or a chiff chaff or something else. Can anyone help please?
Regards Dennis

Well i will go out on a limb and suggest this may be an Iberian Chiffchaff, it has a broken eyering which rules out Willow warbler. Brighter green mantle, yellowish wash to the supercillium (eyestripe), these can be variable, and i cannot rule out a warbler im not familiar with.

Sorry its guess at best but does look ok for this species.
Its a cracking little bird, hope someone can be positive on the ID.

Cracking Image Like it a lot- ID I can't be certain but I do suspect it is a Willow Warbler - but difficult to be sure. Its colours are certainly fresh and it could be a young or pre--breeding bird! Hope you manage to get someone to nail this one!
