Woo that is crystal sharp and a nice unusal slant on the wedding shot, very nice Jude.

This I really like, very romantic, the detail on the dress is superb.

I like the different viewpoint and idea, but maybe would have liked to see more of the man on the left to balance it a bit more (not sure though!!)

Great light Smile

I like the idea, the dress detail stands out well too, but.. the hand dominates a wee bit too much for me and it appears places rather than naturally holding the waist, also have you softened it, the hand that is? Also the bride's arm, I see some pixellation, was it in shadow and you've brought the levels up or something on that area? Forgive me if I'm wrong. K.

I agree about the hand being dominant in the picture, but it's a cracking intimate shot, with good detail of the brides dress (always a good point). It just needs a little rethink but the basics are definatley there. CLICK

Thanks for your comments. My thought, after the event(!) was to catch the left hand with his ring being the focal point. I took this as they were having a very natural snog (- caught that too but that's between them and me )- so the hand wasn't placed. This is an image within another image, so it is cropped quite closely and run through noisewear - but the idea was more what I was thinking about.
Thanks all, very helpful.

I really like the intimate nature of this shot, its also pin sharp, and very nicely exposed. In my very humble opinion, I think there has been to much analysis on this. It is what it is, and it works for that reason.
Great shot - I'd be thrilled to have one like this in my wedding album!

Wonderful work . A well made and beautiful dress with the covered buttons and loops . Most of all I love that strong hand . Looks as if he could have a temper though or is worried about the cost of that wedding, by the nibbled nails . Very precious . xx
