We moved today, south to Yuma, Arizona. On the highway we passed by these sheep being moved to another field.

wonderful light and tones sandy love the dust nice one
has a third world look to it ,would not have guessed it was the USA.
Yo Neil--- ONe can find almost anything in the USA--
Daisy-- I love your title, a good image as well
I went on a walk and found the farmer's sheep here had jumped the fence and were in the creek--- 29 degrees and it made me shiver!
Did you take the 3:10 to Yuma? Sorry I know I'm a very sad individual!!! This is a fantastic photo, expecially with all the wee lambs up front, and the mix between detail and sandy haze is fantastic, brilliant image
Superb shot, beautifully captured and presented.
Nice image Sandy , well captured.
I agree with taggart, you can see everything in USA! Fantastic country! Wonderful image Sandy.
Really surprised to see so many lambs at this time of year, sheep breeding habits in the USA must be different from the norm (as I know it), great shot and the toning works well!
Fantastic shot! Especially appealing to me, as we are sheep farmers too! You really captured the movement beautifully.
Fabulous Sandy. Love this.
This is superb Sandy, a wonderful composition, and very well presented. What is the man on the left carrying, looks like a flag on a pole! Carol
Super PJ shot Sandy
What strikes me immediately is the dust rising, you so rarely see that here. Plus the lambs leading the way. This has a biblical look for me.
Super shot I love the treatment! Suddenly I don't feel so cold!
A stunning and very atmospheric capture and the choice of toning is perfect.
A wonderfully composed image, Sandy, excellent capture and processing.
I kinda thought more of cattle in the USA,rather than sheep !!
Good working and good image Sandy.
Wonderful image Sandy - well captured
Great shot looks as though it could have been taken in the 30s
"Looks like a 'sheep stampede,' Sandy" Great capture & monochrome image rendering. Have a wonderful Weekend.
Works well in mono, well done
The mono works well
Excellent shot, superb composition and have to agree with the pro mono gang. Great stuff.
Superb capture - processed and presented to perfection.
Lovely 'old world' feel to this picture. A
I really like this image, so very well observed, captured and presented,
fine photography indeed.

Wouldnt have thought Arizona had fields,,I had visions of open land.
Daisy, this is a STUNNING shot, really superior.
I love this in mono, the story telling, the relationship of men and his flock, the dust, the kids up front, everything perfect. Would be worth a trip to Yuma Arizona.
ps. We love lamb and turkey for Christmas. They used to import New Zeland lamb (just as succulent and delicious as the South African lamb) but this year the price of the American lamb has gone from $5.99 lb to $7.99 lb
Somehow a 'sheep drive' doesn't sound quite as old-West romantic as a cattle drive. But it makes for excellent photos.
Superb composition and toning, I like this image very much
