We moved today, south to Yuma, Arizona. On the highway we passed by these sheep being moved to another field.

Yo Neil--- ONe can find almost anything in the USA--

Daisy-- I love your title, a good image as well

I went on a walk and found the farmer's sheep here had jumped the fence and were in the creek--- 29 degrees and it made me shiver!

Did you take the 3:10 to Yuma? Sorry I know I'm a very sad individual!!! This is a fantastic photo, expecially with all the wee lambs up front, and the mix between detail and sandy haze is fantastic, brilliant image

Really surprised to see so many lambs at this time of year, sheep breeding habits in the USA must be different from the norm (as I know it), great shot and the toning works well!

Fantastic shot! Especially appealing to me, as we are sheep farmers too! You really captured the movement beautifully.

This is superb Sandy, a wonderful composition, and very well presented. What is the man on the left carrying, looks like a flag on a pole! Carol

What strikes me immediately is the dust rising, you so rarely see that here. Plus the lambs leading the way. This has a biblical look for me.

Daisy, this is a STUNNING shot, really superior.
I love this in mono, the story telling, the relationship of men and his flock, the dust, the kids up front, everything perfect. Would be worth a trip to Yuma Arizona.
Catherine

ps. We love lamb and turkey for Christmas. They used to import New Zeland lamb (just as succulent and delicious as the South African lamb) but this year the price of the American lamb has gone from $5.99 lb to $7.99 lb

Somehow a 'sheep drive' doesn't sound quite as old-West romantic as a cattle drive. But it makes for excellent photos. Smile
