Left the Oregon coast this morning and heading inland to Eugene, Oregon. This is highway 38, going east to I-5.
Only took about 3 hours. Now we are at the Monaco factory, waiting to have some motorhome warranty work done.

There's a decided similarity to here and some parts of Scotland, especially with the mist floating amongst the firs. The road is quite a bit wider than here but it looks very good indeed.

This is a gorgeous scene. Sue and I will be following in your footsteps this August. Eugene is on our itinerary. See your photos now really makes me excited about our upcoming trip.
If you have any special tips, feel free to pass them along.

I've got the same job to do next week, Sandy, but for me it's just down the A38 half an hour to Plymouth.Somehow wherever you go in the van it feels like an adventure though.

Wonderful rocks and the trees look fabulous.
