This is home. On Vancouver Island and many of the summer tourists have left now. Leaving the locals, me, to a wonderful peaceful place. It's lovely in the summer but can be wild and furious in the winter.

What a wonderful spot you get to call "Home". Though nothing quite as dramatic, we well know what a difference the time of year can make. Visitors stand here and exclaim upon the quiet and the beauty but it's noticeable they never appear come the depths of a wild winter - well, perhaps no surprise as they'd require a helicopter!!
