Recently, I was one of the winners of the B&W photo competition on EPZ, and as a consequence, I won a copy of Perfect Photo Suite 7.

The effects that you can create in this program are varied, and quite striking.

I was playing around in the program, and this is one of the results.

I know it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but it's fun mucking around with it. Smile

What do you think? Pretty Grungy? Smile

Cleverly manipulated, Phillip, with snow on the trees and what looks like a large puddle of water in the foreground. Carol

It suits the scene and makes it look on the same lines as those old masters by the Parisian photographers

This is a grand manipulation.....the fact that the manipulations aren't obvious is a feather in your cap. A dramatic and well worked image.

Love it! Great atmosphere in this wonderfully composed image. Makes me want to know who is that man all by himself, he seems rather important.......Sandy

I remember your original with the white, pristine snow. This one is definitely 'urban' snow and suits the scene perfectly.

Firstly, congratulations both on winning in the competition, then gaining the HC. Like the effect the manipulation has achieved. Suspect I'd have liked the original anyway and the composition looks excellent and I just love that tangle of branches!
