Great light on the peak which really shows off the tooth like crags. I always think snow makes the hills look much higher than they usually do.

You have been out braving the conditions on the Moor again, Dougie: there's to be even heavier deposits on the Moor and these mountains again today.
As others have mentioned the sun catching on the summit is perfect in this otherwise shaded winter scene.

The light on the top brings out the chilly detail - a gorgeous scene Dougie with touches of brightness in the sky and on the frozen land.

The central clump of grasses is so important here Dougie but you knew that otherwise you would not have included them. An image so full of interest.

Hope you didn't have to hang around in the cold too long (as I suspect you might have) to capture this magnificent scene Dougie!
