I did say it was a hard act to follow on the first one, Danny, well this for me is up there with it. excellent mono full of detail and those hands really do show life
John
Excellent again, processing and sense ofbalance, tranquility. He's not going anywhere in a hurry.
I want to crop a bit off the right; and to get rid of that white dot on his leg, simply because it's a distraction, but I'm nit-picky.

I have to agree with you Danny, I love it just as it is![]()
Looks like he has a rub down with an oily rag![]()

This is very fine - beautifully process and the detail on the hands is very, very good. Hands speak volumes - these are resting comfortably.
There are also superb diagonals throughout the composition.

There's a relaxed feel to these hands, Dan. A man finished with the day's labours and time to drop the shoulders, before going home or to the pub.
Enjoying this series immensely.

Ingrained with dirt and oil maybe but many of the miners and railwaymen who toiled with their hands were also fine craftsmen in their spare time. There's many's a household full of kids who had superb toys made by their Dad's hands.

you do series really well Danny, you've found a real niche for your photography and one to be proud of too.
