Normally we see a broader view from this vantage point but a like what you have chosen to include in this scene, John, the square crop helping to that end, and although looking down you have managed to present the verticals as such.
Very nice bit of work, the detail immaculate as ever and an image I'd have been proud of.
Having typed this, I have just noticed your exposure time of 8 sec., so I presume the light levels must have been a lot lower than I had at first thought, so all the more credit to you for this top notch low light shot.
I had better stop before you tire of this monologue![]()

Ronnie.
Life going on on different levels, sandwiched on top of each other. Intriguing image, very intimate in effect.

Beautifully controlled exposure and composition. The various layers of the community and the road leading the eye through the picture are great. This image has a sort of toy-town feel to it. ![]()

Spot-on composition and superb tones. I like the ay the little twinkly points of light stand out - and not just the obvious one ![]()

a BIG thank you to Lynks(Norman) and jdinne(John) for there UA's both very much valued by me.
John
Not the usual view from this point, John, a slightly unconventional composition which suits this format perfectly. The couple kept remarkably still for the 6 secs for you. Tones and detail are very good.
Dave
Super shot John, a splendid view
A favourite place visit, in fact we were there on Saturday.
David
I think it's the low light that gives this image such atmosphere, but of course it's also your pov and the way you have included so many interesting elements into the frame, especially the reflection.
Also my thanks goes to Graham for his UA. and of course everyone else for the votes/comments all very much appreciated
John
