Nottingham's Market Square became a lake after an exceptional summer thunder storm..... Most people accepted they were soaked and walked through the lake - except this guy.

Thanks very much. Most of the rain had stopped by the time this was taken.

I was very lucky as most people were stepping over the puddle further down the street and I had composed for this with my prime lens. This guy came running out of no where and leapt accross the puddle much closer than everyone else. This image was uncropped so I was very lucky not to have cropped off his head or feet etc.

Very Cartier Bresson, with the advantage of high ISO.

The Decisive Moment indeed. The expression on his face shows his effort in getting across the puddle.

Excellent shot in frozen motion. The person's face is very expressive as it focusses on the effort. Overall, the atmosphere, timing, etc. make for an excellent Street Photo. Bravo.

GREAT SHOT! LITTLE BIT OF CARTIER-BRESSON'S "DECISIVE MOMENT" GOING ON!
