London Blitz running-back Oliver Bishop runs a sweep during yesterday evening's Eurobowl game against Paris Flash de la Courneuve, in Paris. This was the Blitz's first game in the European American football equivalent of soccer's Champions' League, having last year won the American football equivalent of the Europa League (UEFA Cup).
The Blitz won a close game, 7-6. A victory in their next game (at home to Spanish champions L'Hopitalet Pioneers) will book a place in the semi-final. For details click here if you fancy coming along to watch.
This was the first time that a British club has won in France since 1991.
A great set-up but the floodlights were such that this was shot at 1/1000th, f2.8, ISO 6400. It's had a small crop, small contrast and saturation boosts, and a white balance adjustment. Noise is 'as shot'.
