taking Flight

taking FlightThis is indeed an interesting structure and I would really like to know what it is representing.

From the photographic point of view, the subject is centered and this gives the photo a platonic perspective. Also the timing wasn't perfect as there is no action, no drama in the cloudy sky. These things I consider you could have changed at the moment you took the photo.

What you could do to improve this photo now, is to crop a little, maybe take a portrait style photo, and increase the contrast and give a little color to it.

Hope it is helpful,

Daniela

Blue Moon Over Liverpool

Blue Moon Over LiverpoolHi

We can't vote because you submitted the photo for critique. So I will give my opinion about the picture...

Firstly the view is spectacular. You choose a great place to take the photo and a great moment too. I don't see any Exif info, so I don't know what settings you choose for this photo, but I think a long exposure. The reflection of the moon on the water is perfect. But, I don't know why, the buildings does not have the same clarity and also the clouds are a little blurry. I would expect a movement effect on the clouds, due to long exposure, but they are just blurry ...

Also the stick, or whatever it is in the water, draws the attention from the subject.

Hope it is helpfulSmile.

Regards,
Daniela
Blue Moon, Sea and two friends.I am not a pro, but I try to say what I think so if you disagree, don't be upset with me Smile

I think you shouldn't have centered the subjects. The moon and those two people are in the center of the image and the rest of the photo is empty .. Also, I see a small reflection of the moon on the wet sand and I think you could have captured that too. There are some shades of red from the sunset and if you would have taken the photo from a diffrent angle or position(on the right) you could have captured those shades, the reflection and the people in a better way. Hope it is helpfull
