Taken for a hairdresser. The model had big eyes so I went for the look of the perky eyed Amelie in the French movie of the same name.

A magnetic shot

Thank you for the nice comments, but she made my job easy even if it was her first ever shoot.

The eyes are right for Amelie. One of my favourite films.
Great shot as well.

A good shot of her face and her eyes have been caught well. But(and theres always a but) you say this was taken for a hairdresser yet all the detail has been lost, was that what they wanted ! I think this would have more impact if she was looking straight into the lense i.e.at me. Having said that I still like it so have an R.C. on me Tony.

Thanks for the feedback. I have versions with the hair more detailed as I used a layer mask to give me the versatility to do different things. I prefered this one as all the detail of the substantial hair was a bit distracting. I also have shots of her looking into camera too so got that covered too. I just thought this was a cheeky, coy look that reminded me of Amelie and the model was French so that made me think of it. Thanks for RC

Can't believe you have only 33 (+1Smile) votes on this beautifully lit and posed portrait. You have captured her eyes superbly and what a stunning model. Deserves far more recognition!

lovely image, like the rght sided light source highlighting her hair the soft focus, but the sharp eyes to accentuate the most important part of the image.
Well done
Anne
