i found this old picket fence on a riverside walk along the banks of the river severn near shrewsbury recently
it has clearly seen better days but it looked great in the misty sunlight of this gorgeous autumn morning

Lovely, I like the contrast between the mist and the autumn leaves & that fence makes a great lead in.

Your fairly wide aperture has captured some of the near fence and leaves/twigs in good detail but left the b/g out of focus, thus adding to the effect of the misty atmosphere.
Very good shot and carefully composed and planned.
Ronnie.

Lovely misty effect but its the wavy line of the fence that makes this should a good image for me.

The fence and colourful leaves in sharp focus, leading into the hazy background create a feeling of mystery in this fine photograph.
